Shanghai Disney Resort Official Opening of "Animal City" Theme Park

On 20 December, the world's first "Zootopia" themed park opened at Shanghai Disney Resort. This is the second major expansion of the Shanghai Disney Resort since its opening in 2016, and the eighth themed park at Shanghai Disneyland.

"Zootopia" not only vividly recreates scenes from the film, but also cleverly integrates local culture, including Shanghai-inspired surprises, to provide Chinese guests with a storytelling experience that is instantly recognisable and deeply resonant.

The new park will be enlivened by next-generation technology with mechanical animatronic figures throughout the park and "Zootopia: Hot Pursuit" supported by cutting-edge trackless ride technology, which will surprise and delight guests of all ages.
